The 3rd XI entertain Bass Rock at Merchiston Castle School.  Shaun Smith is back from holiday and the bowling attack is bolstered by Dougie Firth, while young Elliot Peltenburg is rewarded for his 5-for in the 4s last week with promotion.

The 4th XI have an early start at Peffermill for the visit of St Boswells.  Anish Amin is back fit again as is Taha Khan, while Raghuram Parasur is available again after his exams.

The final game on Saturday sees the 5th XI head to Inverleith Park to take on Drummond Trinity 4s on the artificial.  Kartic Subr leads the side for the first time.  The side features a number of the U13 squad which won the Merchiston Festival last Sunday as well as welcoming back Rohan Kumar Jena.

On Sunday there is an early morning T20 friendly for the 3rd XI against Dollar.  That game is followed by the Women’s 2nd XI welcoming Prestwick to Grange Loan in Round 5 of the WPL 30 competition.  Sarah Beith will lead the side featuring it’s usual blend of youth and experience.

Both the Second XI’s and Women’s Second XI’s fixtures at Grange Loan will be livestreamed on the Carlton CC YouTube Channel.
