May Player of the Month – sponsored by Jump Ship Brewing

May’s Player of the Month was split into two winners. Rahul Khadse won the Senior Player of the Month, which is kindly being sponsored by Jump Ship Brewing. Tom Hathorn won the Junior Player of the Month for his performances in Senior cricket.

Rahul Khadse was presented with a box containing 4 cans of Jump Ship’s finest produce and a Jump Ship Brewing beanie by 2nd XI vice-captain Charles Stronach. Tom Hathorn was presented with a box of Celebrations by last month’s POTM Daniel Da Costa.

Khadse took 11 wickets in the month of May at an average of 6.81. His best bowling figures came against Clackmannan County 2s where he returned with figures of 8-4-8-4. Overall Khadse had an economy rate of 2.34 from his 32 overs in the month. When the month of May came to an end Rahul was the top wicket taker in ESCA Division 7.

Tom Hathorn hit 128 runs opening the batting for the 5th XI in the month of May at an average of 32. His top score came against Livingston 3s where he hit his maiden competitive senior half-century. Tom Hathorn also picked up 4 wickets with his leg-spin.
