Announcing Carlton Cubs

In an exciting new venture this year, we are introducing Carlton Cubs – an introduction to cricket for 5 and 6 year old girls and boys.  The Cubs will be led by enthusiastic members of the coaching staff, all 1st and 2nd-team players, many of whom have been members of Carlton since they themselves were juniors.

Carlton Cubs will train from 5:00 – 5:45pm on Friday evenings in a 8-week block from 6 May to 24 June.  Membership of Carlton Cubs will be £40, which covers all the training sessions.

Cubs will receive a Carlton T-shirt plus a bat and ball

If you have younger children who are itching to follow their older siblings into cricket, this will be an ideal introduction.  If you have any friends with 5-year old budding cricketers, please let them know.

The Cubs age-range overlaps with our younger players.  We want to give priority to new players, so it is unlikely that you can sign up for both full-season training and Cubs.  If you would prefer to switch a younger child to Cubs, please contact Martin.
