Results of AGM

The club’s AGM was held on Friday evening in the pavilion.  There were reports from President Kerry Simpson, the outgoing Director of Cricket Fraser Watts and new DoC Stevie Gilmour as well as Youth Convenor Siobhan Fontenla.  The clubs report & accounts were presented and there was discussion about the proposed changes to the subscription rates.  The Management Committee reiterated their motivation for the changes was to simplify the structure of subscriptions and more closely align what people paid with the amount of coaching and games they enjoyed.  They were very cognisant of the fact that these changes would have significant impact for a number of members and reiterated that the club is very open to being flexible depending on individual circumstances.

The proposed directors, including the addition of Omar Ahmad as one of the Vice Presidents, were duly elected.

Under AOCB there was discussion about the appropriate level of reserves that the club should hold and the Management Committee committed to developing an explicit reserves policy over the coming year.
