Planning for cricket when restrictions are eased

New Director of Cricket, Fraser Watts, has released the following message to keep members updated about the work going on behind the scenes to get the club ready for when we are allowed to restart organised cricket activities.

I hope you are all keeping well.

Just to let you know that following the most recent Cricket Scotland announcement, we are progressing plans to start training again from the 1st July and games from 1st August. Training will obviously look very different to normal but the aim is everyone at the club to have an opportunity to train at least once a week.

We are in discussions with other clubs around Edinburgh and ESCA to ensure that the juniors, all 5 senior mixed teams and the women’s team have as many fixtures as we can fit in during August and September. We hope it will be a very busy couple of months on the playing front. More info to follow as we firm up plans but please let me know if you have any questions in the meantime.
