Weekend preview – 30th/31st August
The 1st XI have their final league game away to Heriot’s on Saturday. The only change to the side that played last week is the fit again Shiv Jhala coming in for Harry Simpson. The Arrows will be looking for a strong finish to end the season in second place in the table while the home side are already guaranteed to finish at the top of the pile.
On Sunday an Arrows XI take on the MCC at Grange Loan. Pete Gill comes into the side at the top of the order having impressed in the 2nd XI in the last couple of weeks along with Max D’Ulisse, fresh from his heroics with the 3s in their final league game, helping to ensure their place in Division 2 next season.
Sunday’s fixture at Grange Loan will be livestreamed on the Carlton CC YouTube Channel.
